Every bank in Boone County accepts property tax payments for us.

You can pay at any bank, even if you don’t have an account there!  If you pay at your own bank they can deduct it from your account (no need to write a check).  Bring your entire tax bill to the bank and they will stamp it to show proof of payment.

By paying at your bank, you avoid the inconvenience of driving to the Treasurer’s Office and eliminate the danger of transporting a large amount of cash.

Note: Banks cannot accept tax payments after the due date. For late payments, call the Treasurer’s Office at 815-544-2666 so we can calculate the interest due.  We cannot accept late payments without interest.  Late payments with interest can only be made by mail or in person at the Treasurer’s Office.
